Read MoreLast week, surrounded by family and friends, I received the incredible honor of being recognized as the LSU 2018 Young Alumnus of the Year and was inducted into the LSU Alumni Hall of Distinction. LSU will always hold a special place in my heart. The lessons I learned, the experiences I had and the people I met while a student at LSU all prepared me in some way for a life in service to others, professionally and as a public servant. I am thankful for the important role the LSU Alumni Association plays across this State and beyond, and am truly humbled by this very special recognition.
